Almaty hosted the first-ever Anaplan Day 2026: Decision Excellence in Action, jointly organized by Anaplan and Planingo, the leading Anaplan partner in Central Asia.
Today’s businesses operate in an environment of constant change, economic uncertainty, and rapid technological innovation. In this landscape, competitive advantage belongs to organizations that can connect financial, operational, and strategic planning into a single decision-making framework and use trusted data to respond quickly and confidently. These challenges and opportunities were at the heart of Anaplan Day.
The morning forum brought together finance, operations, supply chain, and digital transformation leaders, as well as Anaplan Centers of Excellence specialists from leading organizations across Central Asia.
During the event, Anaplan experts shared the platform’s strategic roadmap, showcased the latest product innovations, and demonstrated how AI-powered capabilities are enabling organizations to move from static budgeting to continuous scenario planning, accelerate decision-making, and improve transparency across the enterprise. The sessions also explored best practices for driving long-term adoption and maximizing business value after implementation.
The customer perspective was presented by organizations already transforming their planning processes with Anaplan. Natalia Lee, Head of Demand & Supply Planning at Balton Trading Asia, shared how Integrated Business Planning (IBP) helps Uzbekistan’s largest FMCG distributor improve demand planning, supply planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
One of the highlights of the event was a panel discussion featuring representatives from Freedom Holding Corp., Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO), and Balton Trading Asia. The speakers discussed how Anaplan Centers of Excellence are becoming a foundation for sustainable transformation by driving continuous process improvement, expanding solution capabilities, and fostering a culture of collaborative, data-driven decision-making.
The forum concluded with the Anaplan Customer Awards, recognizing organizations that are setting new standards for innovation and business performance across the region:
